No offense to Heather, but there are just some things a father-and-son tandem undeniably does better, or at least, looks better together. ;P What was that frame for, anyway? An actual window frame or a decoration? The Linseed oil-based paint can protect it for years to come if it is for mere decoration. But if this is for an actual window in your house, you'll be needing a primer paint, which comes in both water-based or solvent-based. Joann@AJC Roofing
